It’s important to note that Chariow does not allow you to individually and permanently delete a store on its own. A store you create stays technically linked to your profile.
However, you have two options depending on what you need: if you just want to make a store inactive, you can use archiving. If you want to erase all of your data from the platform, then you need to delete your account Chariow.
If you no longer use a specific store but still want to keep your user account, archiving is the only option. It’s a flexible solution that lets you put your activity on hold while protecting your work.
Public inaccessibility: Your store instantly becomes inactive. Your products are no longer visible or purchasable by visitors.
Data retention: All your information (products, order history, customer database) is safely stored on our servers for possible future consultation.
Future reactivation: You keep the option to reactivate your store at any time if you change your mind.
Freeing up space: On Chariow, you can have up to 5 active stores. An archived store is no longer counted in this limit, which frees up a slot for a new project.

If your intention is to leave the platform for good, you can now delete your Chariow account entirely.
Permanent deletion: Deletion leads to the total and irreversible erasure of your account and of all the shops linked to it.
Loss of data: You’ll permanently lose access to your files, your revenue reports, and your customer lists.
Irreversible action: Once the account is deleted, recovery is not possible. This is a radical process meant for those who no longer want to use Chariow’s services.

Choose archiving if you just want to stop selling on a specific shop or free up a “slot” to create a new shop without losing your past data.
