Manage a course’s content on Chariow

Content is at the heart of your training. To give a full learning experience, Chariow lets you organize and enrich your course with chapters and lessons. Here’s how to structure your content effectively.

Steps to add course content

To get started, on your product edit page, go to the "Course content" section and click on the "Add chapter.

Create a chapter

1. Give your chapter a catchy title .

2. You need to add a description for this chapter.

3. Confirm the chapter by clicking the "Add" button.

Add lessons to a chapter

Once you've created your chapter, you need to click its row, then hit the "Add a lesson" button.

You then get to choose between two types of lessons:

If your lesson is a "Text" type:

1. Add a title to your lesson.

2. Add a description.

3. Pick the type of content "Text".

4. Add the lesson content in the text editor.

5. Click "Save".

If your lesson is "Video" type:

1. Add a title to your lesson.

2. Add a description.

3. Select the type of content "Video".

4. Choose the method to add your video: URL (YouTube or Vimeo) or embed code (custom iframe).

5. Add the video URL or the embed code.

6. Add extra text content if needed.

7. Click "Save".

You have to save your changes and publish your product for it to show up on your sales page.

A chapter can't be published unless it contains at least one lesson

You can manage your content by clicking on the three dots at the right corner of the relevant row.

Chapter

1- Enable or disable the chapter

2- Edit the chapter

3- Delete the chapter

Lesson

1- Enable or disable the lesson.

2- Edit the chapter.

3- Make the content previewable.

4- Move the lesson to another chapter

5- Delete the chapter
