Organic search (SEO) is super important so your products get found by search engines (like Google) without paying for ads. Chariow gives you tools to optimize your shop’s titles, descriptions, and metadata to boost your ranking in search results.
Go to the SEO section:
In your dashboard main menu, click "Settings".
Under the "Management & Operations" section, click "SEO & Referencing".
Work on your Title and Meta description:
Page Title (1): This is the blue clickable text that shows up in search results. It should be short, catchy, and include your main keywords (e.g.: "Your shop name | Sale of [Product type]").
Description (2): This is the short paragraph that appears under the title in search results. Write an engaging description that makes people want to click. It should sum up your shop's offer and include relevant keywords.
Add a Share Image: Thumbnail (3):
The Thumbnail is the image that shows up when your shop link gets shared on social media (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc.).
Upload an image: Click "Import an image".
Recommended dimensions: Stick to the recommended size (usually a wide or square format) for best results. A well-chosen image boosts your click rate.
Set up your Keywords (4):
Specify your shop info like titles, descriptions, and meta data so search engines can spot and rank your content.
Type in keywords that fit what you do (e.g.: "online training", "cooking ebooks", "business coaching").
Free visibility: SEO helps you attract qualified traffic without paying for ads.
Credibility: Being well ranked in search results builds users’ trust in your brand.
Click-through rate (CTR): Well-optimized titles and descriptions make people want to click your link instead of your competitors’.
Recognition: Having well-optimized store pages makes it easier for Google to recognize your content.
