Personnaliser l'URL d'une boutique Chariow

Customizing your URL is key for branding and SEO (organic search ranking). Instead of a generic address, you can tweak the identifier (slug) in your URL so it reflects your brand's name.

Example: Instead of https://abcdefg.mychariow.com/, go for https://afriklic.mychariow.com/.

Step 1: Go to your domain settings

1. Log into your Chariow dashboard.

2. Go to Settings.

3. Pick Domain Name in Store Customization.

   

Step 2: Change the Identifier (Slug)

1. Find the Custom URL section and click Customize.

   

2. In the field, add the slug you want to use for your URL (for example, afriklic).

   

Tip: - Use only lowercase letters, no spaces or special characters (they'll get replaced automatically).

- Your slug needs to be unique and valid.

Step 3: Save and confirm

1. If the name's already used, the platform will let you know that the ID is unavailable. You'll have to try a variation (like add a number or a dash).

2. If your chosen name is valid, click "Save".

Once it's saved, your new URL is live instantly

IMPORTANT: This action is irreversible. Once saved, you can't change your store's URL anymore.
