When a transaction fails, it’s super important to understand why it failed so you can take action—whether that means reaching out to the customer, following up with workflows, or tweaking your product’s settings. Chariow lets you easily check the exact reason for each failed payment.
Access your sales history : In the main menu of your dashboard, click on Sales.
Filter failed transactions : Use the "By status" filter and select "Failed" to show only the transactions that didn't go through.
Select the transaction in question : Click on the failed transaction row you want to check the reason for.
Check the failure details : A window will pop up on your right. In the "Failed payment" section, you'll find:
The reason: A clear explanation of why it failed (e.g. not enough funds, technical error).
Recommendations: Tips about what to do next, like reaching out to the customer and suggesting another way to pay.
